Submissions

General Track

Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts (in pdf format) written in English by the deadline via the Easychair submission system (link is shown below). All submissions will be refereed by experts in the field based on originality, significance, quality, and clarity. All contributions must be original, should not have been published elsewhere and must not be submitted elsewhere during the review period.

The nominal length for each paper is up to 9 pages (inclusive of everything: paper, references, appendix, etc.) and any paper that exceeds this limit may incur extra page charges on the registration form. In any case, a paper must not exceed 12 LNCS pages. Papers must comply with the format of Springer LNCS/LNAI Proceedings (see www.springer.com/lncs), where you will find both LaTeX and WORD templates (click "Author Information").

Short Papers

To encourage emerging results and novel initial developments, especially from PhD students and young researchers, we accept short papers (about 6 LNCS pages). Such papers will also go through our vigorous peer-review process for its novelty and soundness, with a much quicker turn-around time. Although short papers are mainly for the main track, they can be submitted to one of the Special Sessions too. The submission system will automatically treat any papers that are within 6 pages as short papers, and PC chairs will ensure a speedy review of them. For paper format and templates, see the information on General Track.

Special Sessions & Workshops

You are also welcome to contribute to any listed Special Session or Workshop on their relevant topics. You may contact the organiser(s) of the Special Session or Workshop for its scopes and focuses before submitting. The nominal length of each paper, same as the Main Track, is 9 pages, and any paper that exceeds this limit will incur extra page charges on the registration form. In any case, a paper must not exceed 12 LNCS pages. Papers must comply with the format of Springer LNCS/LNAI Proceedings (see www.springer.com/lncs) For paper format and templates, see the information on General Track.

ALL PAPERS are submitted via the EasyChair link: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ideal2023
